2015 Global Dinner Classes: from Lebanon to Pepper

This year's dinner classes include some beauties!

The first 3 month's dates have been set.

Sunday February 15th: 3pm start Vietnam & Malaysia. A look at these two South East Asian countries with very different cuisines. Different ingredients, cooking techniques and tastes. Try your hand at making Otak Otak and savour delicious bun cha on the charcoal grill. We will be making authentic dishes that are not well known in New Zealand.

Sunday March 1st: 3pm start. The intrigue and history of Persia. The birthplace of so many different ingredients and dishes, Persian cuisine has a fascinating history. Prepare to be surprised and delighted by this incredible cuisine.

Sunday April 19th: 3pm start. The ever-popular Regional Italian class returns. A look at the different ingredients and dishes used in the different regions of Italy. One of the world's best cuisines, except it is not just one!

Other classes this year will include;

The food of Portugal, simple and delicious.

Delights of Turkey & Lebanon.

The Magic of Pepper. Yes a whole class devoted to this one amazing spice. Pepper meringue anyone?

Burmese food- yes we will tell you how to make the wonderful fermented tea leaf salad!

The cuisine of Louisiana- jambalaya, crawfish pie, file gumbo- son of a gun!

The art of Japanese food.
